A large, thin needle of corrupted blood forms in the air near the caster to be fired at a target. At the cost of 1 hit point, Blood is drained from a source (e.g dead or live body)or wound and forms a thin needle. Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 5d6 piercing damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.
Augment Levels. You can provide additional blood to increase the range and damage of the needle at four different augment levels. Each individual Augment level requires a different body as a source for blood. (You cannot use the same body for more than one level) or you can provide your own blood to reach any Lvl up to Lvl 4.
Adding 1d6 at each level if the caster’s blood is used and 1d4 for external bodies. These external bodies take 1d4 of necrotic damage and/or you make Constitution saving throw against your spell save D.C. Taking the damage rolled on the additional dice as necrotic damage on failed save or half as much on a successful save.
