A nonmagical wall of solid stone springs into existence at a point you choose within range. The wall is 12 inches thick and is composed of up to twenty 10-foot- by-10-foot panels. Each panel must be contiguous with at least one other panel and can be at any angle. Alternatively, you can create 20-foot-by-20-foot panels that are only 3 inches thick. Each panel can make a curved right-angled arc or section with a radius equal to half the length.
If the wall cuts through a creature's space when it appears, the creature is pushed to one side of the wall (your choice). If a creature would be surrounded on all sides by the wall (or the wall and another solid surface), that creature can make a Dexterity saving throw. On a success, it can use its reaction to move up to its speed so that it is no longer enclosed by the wall.
The wall can have any shape you desire, though it can't occupy the same space as a creature or object. The wall doesn't need to rest on any firm foundation and will hover motionless in the air if necessary. Thus, you can use this spell to bridge a chasm or create a ramp, and you can crudely shape the wall to create crenellations, battlements, and so on.
As a bonus action while you are within 120ft, you can speak a password or hand signal (your choice) and choose any number of panels created as above to do any the following:
Portal. Any amount of area of the panel instantly disappears, leaving at least a 1-foot ledge around the outside. Any creatures that are standing on a section of wall that disappears can make a Dexterity saving throw. On a success, it can use its reaction to make a standing jump no greater than its speed so that it lands on the ledge if it is within distance. Prone creatures that succeed can't jump and instead use their reaction to crawl at least 5 feet to a ledge if it is within distance.
Window. Any amount of area of the panel turns into translucent glass.
Door. Any amount of area of the panel becomes a hinged door with optional latches and brace holders but no lock or braces. You can choose to make the door hidden with a DC equal to your spell save DC to be seen. Such doors can also be made to not penetrate all the way through the wall so as to make cabinets and compartments.
Wall. The panel returns any areas of your choice changed with the options above back into opaque stone. Things in cabinets and compartments are pushed into the nearest unoccupied space on the door side.
When casting this spell you can choose whether the passwords and hand signals work only for you or for anyone that uses them.
The wall is an object made of stone (or glass) that can be damaged and thus breached. Each panel has 30 hit points per inch of thickness and 15 AC, is resistant to non-magical piercing, bludgeoning and slashing damage, resistant to fire, cold, radiant and lightning damage, and immune to poison, psychic and necrotic damage. Reducing a panel to 0 hit points permanently destroys it, preventing any of the bonus action options above, though connected panels remain where they are. Alternatively, each panel can be targeted to be dispelled with magic but not the whole spell.
A damaged panel can only be repaired by casting the Mending cantrip once to restore 10 hit points, or by casting the Mending cantrip and expending a spell slot to restore 10 hit points plus 30 hit points per level of the spell slot. Casting Mending on the wall to repair it can be done from any side of the wall, regardless of which side the damage was caused.
If you cast this spell in the same location with the same configuration every day for a year, it becomes permanent (no concentration required). Panels can still be dispelled and destroyed.
