Burning Slash

You fire a concentrated explosion at a creature in front of you before dashing forwards to slash it.

When you cast this spell if you are not holding a melee weapon you are proficient with the spell fails.

Upon casting this spell a creature within range must succeed at a dexterity saving throw, on a fail the creature takes 8d6 fire damage and half on a success. Regardless of the result of the saving throw you move in a straight line to an unoccupied space within the power’s range and strike a creature within your weapon’s range. Opportunity attacks provoked by this movement have disadvantage. You then make 3 attacks with a melee weapon against the target. Each of these attacks deal and extra 4d4 damage of the weapon type.
