Bloody Briar

A Bloody Briar of thorns streaks toward a creature within range. When a Creature is struck by the spell blood leaks out of their eyes (no mechanical benifit) . Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 necrotic damage plus your spell casting modifier.

The spell creates more than one Briar when you reach higher levels: two Briars at 5th level, three Briars at 11th level, and four Briars at 17th level. You can direct the Briars at the same target or at different ones. Make a separate attack roll for each Briar.
