Cloak of Chaos

A random pattern of color surrounds you, protecting you and any amount of creatures of your choice within the area from attacks, granting them resistance to spells cast by lawful creatures, and causing lawful creatures that strike the subjects to become befuddled. This spell has the following four effects.

• Regardless of alignment, affected creatures gain a +3 bonus to Armor Class.
• Affected creatures gain resistance to spell damage and advantage on saving throws against spells that are cast by lawful creatures.
• Affected creatures are immune to charm and possession effects.
• If a creature succeeds on hitting a creature affected by this spell with a melee attack, the attacker becomes subjected to the effects of the confusion for 1 round, and has disadvantage against the saving throw for it.
