You whistle a tune and imbue an arrow or crossbow bolt with magical energy. When you cast the spell, you can make a ranged spell attack against a creature within range. On a hit, the target takes piercing damage (magical) equal to 2d4 + your spell casting ability modifier. After the attack, the arrow or bolt returns to your side and hovers.  As a bonus action on your turn, you can repeat the attack against a creature within range. If you are silenced or are unable to continue to whistle your tune, the spell ends.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d4 for every slot above 2nd.
