"I can't help that I'm hilarious. I swear either I am comedy gold, or someone keeps casting that laughing spell. Ah well, at least I get a chuckle out of some of you."
- Arcane Scribe, Altheus Alvago
Your quick wit allows you to construct various jokes that interweave with magic. You quickly create two jokes and target creatures that can hear you. Those creatures must make a charisma saving throw or be affected by the joke. A joke follows one of the below types.
Stinging Wit. The creature takes 1d6 psychic damage, and suffers a 1d4 penalty to their next saving throw.
Hilarious Pun. The creature laughs uncontrollably, and has disadvantage on it's attack rolls until the end of it's turn.
Slapstick Comedy. The creature takes 1d8 magical bludgeoning damage and it's movement speed is reduced by 10 feet.
Dark Humor. The creature takes 1d4 necrotic damage, and must make a constitution saving throw or become blinded until the start of their turn.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, you create one additional joke for each slot level above 2nd.
