You summon oozes that appear in unoccupied spaces that you can see within range. You choose one the following options for what appears:
- One ooze of challenge rating 2 or lower
- Two oozes of challenge rating 1 or lower
- Four oozes of challenge rating 1/2 or lower
- Eight oozes of challenge rating 1/4 or lower.
An ooze summoned by this spell disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.
The summoned oozes are friendly to you and your companions, but aren't under your control. Roll initiative for the summoned creatures as a group, which has its own turns. The oozes pursue and attack the nearest hostile creatures to the best of their ability.
Though the oozes are friendly and make no effort to harm you or your allies, they also make no effort to avoid you or your allies when they move, subjecting you to any trait they have upon making contact. For example, a gelatinous cube summoned by this spell will not use its pseudopod attack against you or any of your allies, but may accidentally engulf you with its Ooze Cube trait as it pursues a hostile target.
The GM has the creatures' statistics.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using certain higher-level spell slots, you choose one of the summoning options above, and more creatures appear: twice as many with a 6th-level slot and three times as many with an 8th-level slot.
