You conjure a magical lasso and attempt to toss it over one creature that you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be restrained for the duration. As an action, the target can make a Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check against your spell save DC to break free or sever the connection. On a success, the spell ends on the target.
For the duration of the spell, as a bonus action, you can pull a restrained target towards you a number of feet equal to your Strength modifier.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you can target one additional creature for each slot level above 1st. The creatures must be within 30 feet of each other when you target them.
