You condemn a creature that you can see within range, calling forth a vissage of a wolf to fetch their soul. The target must make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, they take 2d12 psychic damage, are frightened for the duration, and at the start of each of the creatures turns they take 3d6 necrotic damage as their soul wilts and separates from their body. On a successful save, the target takes half the psychic damage, no necrotic damage and is not frightened.
The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effects on a success.
Undead, constructs and creatures without a soul cannot be targeted by this spell.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the necrotic damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.
