Blade Rain

You conjure forth 12 crystalline bladed structures, which each strike a point of your choice within range. 

You can direct any number of these blades to simultaneously strike at a point you choose. If a creature occupies the space of one or more blades, make a ranged spell attack against that creature. On a hit, it takes 1d6 force damage per blade that lands there. Hit or miss, the blades then dissipate into harmless glittering fragments.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the number of conjured blades increases by 2 per level of spell slot above 6th.
