A 5-foot-diameter sphere of glowing light appears in an unoccupied space of your choice within range and lasts for the duration. Any creature that ends its turn within 5 feet of the sphere must make a Dexterity saving throw. The creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
There are two versions you can summon, red and blue, they have different affects and different damage types but overall the same propertys
RED causes 2d6 radiant damage, glows a bright red, and pushes enemy's away from it in a 5 foot radius around it, at a rate of 15 feet per round, forcing a creature to be 10 feet away from the sphere, it can be over rided by walking towards it, but 15 feet will be subtracted from walking speed/distance and damage will still be taken.
BLUE causes 2d6 force damage, glows a outward azure blue with darker core, and pulls enemy's in within a 10 foot radius, at a rate of 15 feet per round, dragging a creature closer to the sphere, the pull can be overridden by walking away from the sphere but 15 feet will be subtracted from walking speed/distance and damage will still be taken,
As a bonus action, you can move the sphere up to 30 feet. If you ram the sphere into a creature, that creature must make the saving throw against the sphere's damage, and the sphere stops moving this turn. pull and push radius and additional ability's do follow.
When you move the sphere, you can direct it over barriers up to 5 feet tall and jump it across pits up to 10 feet wide. The sphere sheds bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet.
At Higher Levels. (BOTH) When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
At Higher Levels. (red) range is increased by 5 feet for every spell slot of 4th level or higher, and at 6th level it gains an additional bonus of 1d6 damage on top of the bonus from the higher spell slot.
At Higher Levels. (blue) pull speed is increased by 5 feet for every spell slot of 4th level or higher, and at a 6th level it creates difficult terrain within a 15 foot radius around the sphere.
