Calsatious Fourl's Feast of Fools

Choose a point within range to affect a 20 foot radius.  All creatures within that radius must make a Dexterity Saving Throw vs your Spell Save DC or gain their body weight in fat.  If the saving throw is successful, the target is unaffected.

Affected creatures lose all Dexterity Modifiers to AC, To Hit, Damage and Saving Throws, and any armor they are wearing pops free and falls at their feet.  Additionally, their base move is halved and each time they make an attack they must make Constitution Saving Throw (DC10) or gain a level of Exhaustion.

Flying creatures affected must make an Athletics (Strength) Check, DC15 or plummet to the ground, taking appropriate falling damage.  If the athletics check is successful, they land as if affected by the Feather Fall spell, flapping madly to slow their descent and may not fly again until the spell ends.  Affected creatures under a Fly or Levitate spell effect may remain aloft regardless of their sudden weight gain, but their flying speed is halved for the duration of the spell.

Constructs and Undead are immune to this spell.

As the heavily injured party fled down the narrow corridor of the Undermountain, their wizard slowed enough to cast a spell over his shoulder at the flock of stirges coming up from behind.  While they had prevailed against much stronger foes, the combination of giants, ogres, kobold ambushes and the like had taken their toll, with the fighter and the rogue hanging on by a thread, and the party's healer was depleted of spell slots.   They desperately needed to get back to that secret room they'd secured on the level above, bind their wounds and get some rest.

A resounding series of gristly, fatty *FLWORP*'s sounded out as the spell took hold, like a string of muffled firecrackers, and the stirges not only plummeted to the dungeon floor, but ended up blocking the passage somewhat like a bunch of flapping, angry cantaloupes.
