Astra's Lightning Barrage

Crafted by a Bloodthirsty Cleric who once aspired to embrace the path of peace, only to succumb to the allure of violence.

You summon the power of lightning to launch a barrage of electrical energy beams. You create three beams of lightning and hurl them at targets within range. The targets must be within 25 feet of the first target you select.

Make a ranged spell attack for each beam. On a hit, the target takes 4d6 lightning damage.

At Higher Levels:

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you create one additional beam for each slot level above 3rd. Additionally, the damage of each beam increases by 1d6 for every two slot levels above 3rd. For example, if you cast Astra's Lightning Barrage using a 5th-level spell slot, you create five beams, and each beam deals 5d6 lightning damage. You can target one creature with all the beams or spread them across up to five different creatures, as long as each creature is within 25 feet of the first target. Each beam requires a separate attack roll.
