Choose a creature within sight. A fluctuation occurs within that creature's brain.
That creature must make Constitution saving throws, with the DC being your spell save DC+5. If the creature does not have the Medicine skill, the DC is increased by 5. It makes these saving throws until it gains either three failures or three successes. If it makes three successes, it takes 10d6 necrotic damage. If it takes three failures, it develops a brain tumor, taking 15d6 necrotic damage. 1 round later, it gains several impediments.
Impediment #1; The affected creature cannot speak.
Impediment #2; The affected creature cannot read, speak, or write two random languages that it knows, and cannot learn any new languages.
Impediment #3; The affected creature's Charisma is reduced by 6 until the spell ends. This affects spell save DCs, attack bonuses and checks, but not saving throws(the creature's Charisma is considered to be the same as it was before the spell for saving throws), and that creature's Charisma cannot increase.
Impediment #4; The affected player cannot speak out of character, or must speak/write in a language that the creature can(multiple multilingual alphabets are available online for these purposes).
Impediment #5; Any healing spells or restoration spells aimed at that creature for the duration only serve to amplify the tumor. Each time a healing spell is cast on the affected creature, the creature is not healed and takes irresistible necrotic damage equal to half the healing that would have been received. Each time a restoration spell is cast on the affected creature, the creature is not affected and takes irresistible necrotic damage equal to (the spell's level x 10).
The spell can only be ended by a greater restoration spell up cast to 8th or lighter level.
