You summon a devastating storm of void energy, unleashing the chaotic power of the Eldrazi upon your enemies. Choose a point within range; a 20-foot-radius sphere of swirling void energy appears centered on that point. The area is heavily obscured and difficult terrain.
When a creature enters the area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 8d8 necrotic damage and 8d8 force damage, and it is pulled 10 feet toward the center of the storm. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't pulled.
Secondary Effects:
- Void Winds: Ranged weapon attacks that pass through the storm or are made against targets within the storm have disadvantage.
- Eldritch Fracture: Structures and objects within the storm take double damage from the spell. The storm can penetrate 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, or up to 3 feet of wood or dirt. Anything thinner is destroyed.
- Void Pulse: At the start of each of your turns while you maintain concentration on this spell, you can use your action to cause the storm to pulse with energy. All creatures within the storm must make a Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the start of your next turn.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the necrotic and force damage each increase by 1d8 for each slot level above 7th.
