You gain the ability to see into the past of the location you are currently in. Select a time as specific or general as you want (i.e, "during the great war", or "yesterday at 2:00 pm"), and the surrounding area will appear to you as it did at that point in time. You can see this effect out to 100 feet, but if something beyond the range limit would effect the seen area, it still does so (such as standing at the bottom of a waterfall more than 100 feet tall, water will still fall normally as if the top existed).
Any physical objects that were once present but are there no longer appear with a slight blue hue. You can interact with these objects normally, like standing on a collapsed bridge, while others see you floating in mid air. Any changes you make to objects during the spell (such as re-collapsing a bridge or throwing a rock) will not appear for anyone else with this spell active, nor will they remain once the spell is over, resetting if cast again.
The new environment exists apart from what is present in real life. If a wall is in place now but wasn't before, you can pass through the space uninhibited. Environmental hazards still effect and hurt you normally, such as lava, water, or moving objects. The spell can create environments in their regular capacity, but does not replicate creatures (i.e, used in a once-active factory, parts and materials may still be moving around and working normally though no creatures are present to operate machinery).
