Choose a creature you can see within range, or two creatures if both are within 10 feet of each other. The hands (or two similar appendages) of each target are instantly daubed with a thick layer of cultured butter. When you cast this spell, and at the start of each of its turns, each target must make a Dexterity or Strength saving throw (its choice) or drop whatever it's holding in its hands. For the duration, each target also has advantage on ability checks made to escape grapples, as well as bindings such as ropes or cuffs.
A creature can use its action to wash or wipe the butter off either itself or another creature, provided it has water, soap, or a cloth available. The prestidigitation cantrip can also end the spell on a creature.
The butter turns into water when the spell ends.
