You conjure a swirling vortex of dark, otherworldy energy at a point you can see within range. the vortex manifests as a 20-foot-radius sphere and pulls creatures and objects toward its center with immense force.

  • Initial Effect: Each creature in the area when the vortex appears must make a strength saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 6d8 force damage and is pulled 10 feet towards the center of the vortex. On a seccessful save, a creature takes half damage and is not pulled.
  • Lingering Effect: At the start of each of your turns, any creature that ends its turn within 20 feet of the vortex must make another strenght saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes another 3d8 force damage and is pulled 10 feet towards it's center. On a successfull save, the creature takes half damage and is not pulled.
  • Moving The Vortex: As a bonus action on your turn, you can move the vortex up to 30 feet to a point you can see. Any creatures within the area of the new location must immediately make the initial saving throw as described above.
  • End Of The Spell: When the spell ends, the vortex collapses in on itself, causing a final burst of force. Each creature within 20 feet of the vortex must make a dexterity saving throw, taking 4d8 force damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the initial and lingering force damage increases by 1d8 for each slot above 5th.
