Aspects of the Crucible

twas several millennia ago, when lord Godfrey plunged his 16 closest knights into the primordial crucible, a chaotic font of life throbbing, writhing, unceasing, unending. The chaotic pool from which all life originated transformed these knights into beasts connected to the deepest parts of reality, giving them power over the very energy that, from chaos, order and gold was born. with their spectral limbs of tooth, claw, talon, wing, horn, and tail, they rampaged and ravaged the land for their lord. Fighting many wars and destroying countless armies with their newfound immortality and strength. The age of gold is long gone, and the primordial crucible lost to time. but these knights, undying, still wield its magic... it is rumored that one who would bond or slay these knights would gain the strength of chaos and life unending... but you can never trust a rumor in the end.

conjure spectral beast limbs to aid you in combat. they can have many different effects, such as a massive tail to strike all enemies in a 20 foot sphere, a massive arm claw to devastate a target, a pair of spectral wings to fly, or many other ideas. consult with your dm, you may be able to do amazing things!!!

summoning the limbs or attacking with them takes an action, you can summon and attack in one action, but the utility variants of this (like summoning wings to fly, or gills to breathe underwater) just take an action and you cannot attack as the same action.

deals 2d6 force damage if you attack with it.

at higher levels:

at level 5 the damage is increased to 4d6 force damage, at level 11 it is increased to 6d6, and at level 17 it is increased to 8d6.
