on the isolated paradise planet of Terrestria in a universe parallel to ours, a legendary and world renowned solo adventurer with glowing magical weapon battle arts carves and rends apart city destroying monsters all by his lonesome, no one knows his true name or his face. Only a moniker: Amarok, the Lone Adventurer. Due to his kind yet stern demeanor this cantrip has been taught to the vast population, and carried to other worlds by the legendary universe hopping wizard Cataclysm. Of course the Aetheric magic of Terrestria does not attach to the weave, but with one as powerful as Cataclysm it took but moments to tap into the weave and carve its power within a tome, to be read and learned by the world.
take a bonus action to imbue your blade (or bow) with magic from the weave, giving the blade a blue shimmer. Adding +1d10 force damage to a single attack and converting all damage dealt with your weapon into force damage. the attack's bonus damage will still pull from your strength or dex pool (depending on the weapon) however.
if you miss or hit the attack, the infusion is lost. but if you choose not to attack, the infusion lasts for 12 seconds after being applied.
at higher levels:
at level 5, 11, and 17 the damage increases by 1d10. so 2d10, 3d10, and 4d10 respectively.
additionally at level 11 this applies to 2 attacks so if you take this as arcane trickster it will still be there on your next turn even if you only have one attack per turn.
