You must meet all requirements for the spell and is cast as if you were expending a spell slot normally. A spell cast this way may not be cast again by this ability until the next dawn.

Additionally you can instruct the blue weave to carry out a mundane task like nudge open a door or lift a document to read within reasonable reach and regards you with loyalty.
