You touch a willing creature as you cast this spell and grant it 6 points towards ability scores. These can be put on the same ability score or different ones. This does not increase the ability score permanently and increases the cap by 2 (i.e. most classes can have a maximum of 22 instead of 20, a level 20 barbarian could have a 26 instead of 24 in STR or CON). When the spell ends the target suffers 1 point of exhaustion and the ability scores that were boosted are lowered by twice the amount that it was raised until the next long rest. A greater restoration spell can be used to remove the ability score penalty and exhaustion at the same time.
At higher levels: for every spell slot above 6th, one additional target can be selected. The bonuses for each target can be allocated differently.
