You create a flat, shimmering translucent wall in an unoccupied area orthogonal to you. The wall is 5 feet wide and 10 feet tall, and has 30 hitpoints.
The Walking Wall acts as directional cover against any spell that requires a direct shot to hit a target, including spells that create a magic-based explosion. All damaging spells automatically succeed their attack roll against the wall. All physical attacks and area of effect spells such as lingering environmental hazards will bypass the barrier without dealing damage to it.
The wall's turn order immediately precedes that of the spellcaster's. Every turn, it moves 5 feet in the direction it was formed. For example, if you formed it to the north of yourself, it will move north. Non-magical objects and creatures are able to occupy the same space as the wall, but won't be considered within its cover. Magical objects and creatures are pushed 5 feet backwards if the wall moves into their space.
The wall dissipates if its duration expires; it collides with another Walking Wall, an immovable magical object or creature, or any object or creature completely larger than itself.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the hitpoints of the wall increases by 10 for each slot level above 2nd. Additionally, when you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you may choose to extend the wall width or height by 10 feet.

"Its defensive uses were only discovered years later; he originally invented it to easily move all his magical furniture."
