Burning Question of Tiamat

You turn to a creature within your sight and evoke a burning question related to Tiamat the Draconic Goddess within them. The target must make an Intelligence (History) Save, which is contested by a roll made with your spellcasting modifier.
If the target fails the save, they take 1d4 psychic damage and 1d4 fire damage. The effects of this spell repeat for up to 1 minute, should the caster maintain concentration.
Creatures that beat your roll cannot be targeted again for two minutes.

This spell’s effects cannot apply to a target that cannot physically speak (silenced targets, unconscious targets, etc.)

At Higher Levels: This spell deals an extra 1d4 psychic and fire damage for every two levels the spell is upcast at.
If cast at 9th level, all damage becomes acid and bypasses all resistances and immunities.
