You touch any one willing creature in range as the creature eats the hot pepper to imbue it with the power to expel magical energy from its mouth, if it has one. Choose from acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, or water (bludgeoning damage). FOR THE SAME ROUND IN WHICH THE SPELL WAS CAST, the creature exhales energy of the chosen type in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity or Constitution saving throw depending on the damage type, taking 3d8 damage of the chosen type on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
acid - DEX SAVE
cold - CON SAVE
fire - DEX SAVE
lightning - DEX SAVE
poison - CON SAVE
water - DEX SAVE
NOTE: If the spell energy is not expeled in the round it was cast, the spell and slot used to cast it are lost at the top of the imbued creature's next turn.
At higher level:
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd level.
* - (A single hot pepper.)
It occurred to me that the spell "Dragon's Breath" is a bit overpowered as it is written. So, I made one a bit less OP.
