You call upon natures energy and create a small ball of lightning in your hand. This is called the Chidori. You can grow the Chidori using Kinetic Energy, as your palm faces down to the ground, run towards the person you would like to use the Chidori on. The maximum Kinetic Energy the Chidori can absorb is equal to 40ft, the only downside of using the Chidori is that the only direction you can run with it is straight. When you reach your opponent, make a Melee Spell Attack.
On a Hit: On a pass your Chidori connects with the opponent, they must take 2d6 Lightning Damage and due to the shear kinetic force of the Chidori is forced back 5ft and take an additional 1d4 Force Damage.
On a Miss: You miss the opponent, and due to the sheer kinetic energy built up with the Chidori, you and the opponent must both make a dex saving throw that surpasses the caster's spell save DC. On a Pass: The lightning and force of the Chidori only hits you and the opponent slightly, you and them only take half 1d6 lightning damage. On a fail: You and the opponent take 1d6 Lightning damage.
When casted using a 2nd level spell slot or higher: add 1d6 Lightning for every slot over 2nd (Example: 5th Level Chidori: 5d6 Lightning Damage
