Change of Seasons

You channel the forces of nature to dramatically change the environment in a 30-foot radius sphere centered on a point you choose within range. When you cast the spell, choose one of the following seasons:

• Spring: The area becomes lush and green, with flowers blooming instantly. When this season is selected, any creature within the area regains 2d8 hit points.
• Summer: The area becomes hot and bright, with intense sunlight beating down. When this season is selected, any creature within the area must make a Constitution saving throw or take 3d8 fire damage and become engulfed in flames. On a successful save, the affected creatures take half the initial amount of damage and do not become engulfed in flames. At the start of each engulfed creature's turns,  the creature takes an additional 1d8 fire damage. An engulfed creature stops being engulfed if the spell ends or if the fire is extinguished by traditional means (submerged in water, smothering, etc.) Creatures cannot have multiple instances of the engulfed effect. The light emitted by the sun causes the area to be lit by bright light.
• Autumn: The area becomes filled with swirling leaves and a gentle breeze. When you select this season, any creature within the area gains advantage on Stealth checks, has half cover due to the foliage and becomes lightly obscured.
• Winter: The area becomes frigid and icy, with snow falling and ice forming on the ground. When you select this season, any creature within the area takes 3d8 cold damage at the start of each of its turns and must make a Dexterity saving throw or fall prone.

You can change the season effect as a bonus action on each of your turns for the duration of the spell. You cannot change from one season to the same season.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the radius of the effect increases by 10 feet for each slot level above 4th.
