Creation
Allows its user to revive a slain monster or player as a shadow soldier. It is triggered through a set keyword, does not cost spell slots to use.
Each player has 40 shadow slots, the amount of slots a monster takes up is determined by their challenge rating, and the shadows stats are determined by its stats in life.
In order to successfully “rise” a creature You must roll 1d20 + your spell casting ability, the roll must be equal or above to the monsters challenge rating.
- Since Shadow Extraction works by extracting energy to create a shadow body, it can't be used on targets who don't have a soul when they were alive (i.e. a construct, or undead).
At Higher levels: For casting at 6th level or higher, you gain +2 to rising rolls.
