A stylized skull tattoo appears on a willing creature you touch when you cast this spell, marking their flesh. For the duration, the creature has advantage on saving throws made to resist cold or necrotic damage, being polymorphed, and being charmed.
Mindless undead (e.g. zombie) react to the creature as though they were undead. Finally, the creature counts as undead for determining the damage of paladin smites, as well as for being turned by a cleric.
