Creatures of your choice within 30 feet must make a Constitution saving throw or take 4d8 radiant damage. Creatures with vulnerability to radiant damage have disadvantage on this saving throw.

If any of this spell's area overlaps with an area of darkness created by a spell of 3rd level or lower, the spell that created the darkness is dispelled. For effects of higher level, make an ability check using your spellcasting ability. The DC equals 10 + the other spell level. On a successful check, the other spell ends. Multiple magical darkness spells may be abolished in this way.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the radiant damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd, and if the spell’s area overlaps with one or more areas of darkness created by spells of the same level or lower, those spells end immediately.
