This spell creates a small channel through which a row boat could pass. The channel is 7 feet wide and 15 feet long and deep enough for small vessels. This spell has been primarily employed by the harbor casters in Waterdeep to allow for small vessels to weave inland delivering goods like a courier service. Only a skilled sailor would be able to travel these lanes without getting stuck in the narrow spaces. It must be cast adjacent to a body of water within which boats can travel.
When cast the spell does not create water or a vessel upon which to sail.
When this spell is cast using a spell slot above 3rd the length of the channel increase. Roll 1d4 per spell slot above 3rd, the channel created increases in length by 15 ft multiplied by the cumulative amount rolled.
