You create a powerful illusion that invades the mind of a target, causing intense mental distress and temporary cognitive disruption. Choose one creature within range that you can see. The target must make an Intelligence saving throw.
-
On a failed save: The target takes 4d12 psychic damage and suffers from an illusory lobotomy. For the duration of the spell, the target's manner of speaking is altered to use contemporary Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha slang, making its communication difficult and often incomprehensible to others who do not understand such slang.
-
On a successful save: The target takes 2d12 psychic damage and resists the illusory lobotomy effect.
Additional Effects: While under the spell's effect, the target has disadvantage on Intelligence checks and Intelligence saving throws due to the cognitive disruption caused by the illusion.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 4th.
