Acidic Burst

You create a sphere of highly corrosive and vitriolic acid 12 inches in diameter and launch it at one creature you can see within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 1d12 of acid damage.

Additionally, residual acid that still clings to the target will corrode and eat away at anything that creature is wearing and carrying, dealing 1d6 of acid at the end of the targets next turn.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 1st.
