Baelfyre’s Shrine

You cross your hands folded into a prayer mincing away at foes like sturgeon on a chopping board, perfect for broiling and devouring. The target you touch is struck by a massive amount of fatal invisible cuts that adapt to their defenses. For the duration, on your turn you can choose to take one of the following actions:

Cleave. As an action, make a melee spell attack with a range of touch, on a hit the target takes 5d10 slashing damage and each creature within 10 feet of it must make a Dexterity saving throw, on a failure it takes 5d10 slashing damage and takes one wound, on a success it takes only half the damage and takes no wound. The damage dealt by this spell ignores any resistances or effects that would reduce its damage. At the start of each wounded creature's turn, it loses 1d10 of its current hit points for each time you wound it with Cleave, and it can then make a Constitution saving throw, ending the effect of all such wounds on itself with a success. Alternatively, the wounded creature, or a creature within 5 feet of it, can use an action to make a Wisdom (Medicine) check against your spell's DC, ending the effect of such wounds on it on a success.

Dismantle. As an action, make a ranged spell attack against a target within range. The target can be either a creature or an object. On a hit, the target takes 4d10 slashing damage and any creature or object within a 10 foot radius of it must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure it takes 4d10 slashing damage. This attack scores a critical hit on surprised creatures and deals double damage to objects, structures, and constructs.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for every slot level above 4th. Also, you apply one more wound for every two levels above 4th.
