Animate Lifeless Servant

You touch a tiny or small beast or humanoid corpse no more than 30 days old and imbue it with a semblance of life. The creature becomes a lifeless servant under your control until the spell ends or the creature is reduced to 0 hit points. The spell fails if the corpse was the target of this spell within the last 10 days.

The animated servant retains its original physical form, but its eyes glow with a faint green light, and its movements are slightly jerky and unnatural. The creature's statistics remain the same, except that it now has the following changes:

• Type: The creature's type changes to Undead.
• Mindless Servant: The creature cannot speak, think, or use any abilities that require intelligence or wisdom. It follows simple commands given by you telepathically within a range of 60 feet. If no commands are given, it defends itself but takes no other actions.
• Basic Actions: The creature can perform basic actions such as moving, attacking (using its basic attack), and interacting with objects.
• Hit Points: The creature has half of its original hit points (rounded down).

When the spell ends, the creature collapses into a lifeless heap.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you can animate one additional creature for each slot level above 1st.
