The caster conjures a beautifully plated, but deceptively disgusting, dessert on a surface within 20ft of themselves. Beings that are not artificial or undead within 5ft of the tart must make a CON save of DC12 to resist being magically compelled to try some, including allies and even the caster. If they fail, they take one slice and eat as much as they can fit in their mouth in a single bite. The taste is so offensive that they must spend the turn they took a bite spitting it out, unable to take their action and leaving them open to an attack of opportunity. The unfortunate snacker must then make a CON save of DC10 to avoid being poisoned for 1d4 poison damage for 2 turns.

If a prospective eater is able to resist the tasteless treat in the initial CON save, or if they succumb and partake, they become immune to the tart's allure for 2 turns. If they remain in range or find themselves nearby again, however, they will be tempted to take another slice if one is still available. Once all slices have been eaten, destroyed, dispelled, or otherwise made inedible, the plate it was summoned with disappears as well.

Serves 8.

The magical chef Woldin Wellington famously created several cookbooks with detailed instructions on how to instantly summon a magically-prepared meal for birthdays, family gatherings, or just for those without the know-how to cook. Unfortunately, Wellington himself seems to have been one of those people. Critics, chefs, and anyone with taste buds recommend avoiding Wellington’s abhorrent recipes at all costs. They seem to be thrown together completely at random, lacking basic ingredients and featuring shocking additives that either make little sense or actively turn the dish into a severe health hazard. This tart, for example, seems to require a garnish of icing made from the essence of an ochre jelly "for texture." Despite this, most can't resist partaking if they have the chance, thanks to a modestly powerful charming component Wellington builds into all his culinary spells.
