You focus your will, enduring incoming damage and channeling the pain into a powerful counterattack. While the spell is active, any damage you take is stored within you as potential energy. You take damage as normal, reducing your hit points accordingly, but you also store an equivalent amount of damage within yourself. This stored damage accumulates over the duration of the spell.
As an action, you can end the spell prematurely, unleashing all the stored damage in a single devastating attack. Choose a creature within 60 feet of you that you can see; the target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes the full amount of damage you have stored plus additional damage equal to your spellcasting modifier. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage.
You must maintain concentration for the duration of this spell. If you lose concentration, the stored damage is lost, and the spell ends without releasing the stored energy.
