Chaos Juggle

You create six warbling motes of chaotic energy in your space. They float in the air nearby you for the spell’s duration. When you cast the spell — and as a bonus action on each of your turns thereafter — you can expend one of the motes, sending them streaking toward a point you choose within 120 feet of you. Once a mote reaches its destination or impacts against a solid surface, the mote explodes in manner resembling the damage type. Each creature within 5 feet of the point where the mote explodes must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 3d4 damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Choose one of the d4s. The number rolled on that die determines the spell’s damage type, as shown below.

If you roll the same number on two of the d4s, the mystical energy bubbles over and causes the radius of the explosion to increase to 10ft, any creatures damaged by the explosion take an additional 2d4 of the damage type. If you roll the same number on all three d4s, then the radius increases to 15ft and creatures damaged by the explosion take an additional 4d4 damage. The extra dice rolled by this effect does not change the damage type of the explosion.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the number of motes created increases by two for each slot level above 3rd.
