You attempt to enter another creature's mind. One creature that you can see must make a Wisdom saving throw. If you are fighting the creature, it has advantage on the saving throw. On a failed save, you enter the target's mind, learning everything that it knows. You can erase or add memories as you see fit and alter emotions, opinions, and even alignment. When you are done, you can leave the creature insane (see Indefinite Madness) or seemingly unaffected, without any memory of the intrusion.
Severe changes to personality can be corrected by a remove curse or greater restoration spell (although a ceremony spell for atonement is needed to correct changes to alignment). Alterations to memories and subtler thoughts can be restored only through use of a wish spell.
