Aicnár's Blades of Retribution

Aicnár study many spells over his lifetime. He was purely fascinated by the homing feature of the Magic Missile spell. He wanted to create his own variant but more reactive and a bit more potent. He looked over many different theorems and believes he has crafted something could fulfill one of his many dreams. His own Named Spell.

When cast, this spell creates 3 magic swords that float around the caster. When the caster or an ally within 30ft of the caster is attacked, you may launch one of the swords at the attacker for 1d8 force damage as a reaction.

This spell gains more damage as you cast it using a 3rd level slot or higher. Gaining 1d8 of damage per 2 levels above 2nd.
