For the duration you gain the effects of detect magic at a range of 120 ft. without the need to maintain concentration.
Additionally, you can tell the relative strength of the magic already in place and as it is being cast as long as the source is not behind full cover that is thicker than 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.
*RELATIVE MAGICAL STRENGTH*
Weak Aura ( lv 0-3 spell effect, common/uncommon magical item)
Moderate Aura ( lv 4-6 spell effect, rare/very rare magical item)
Strong Aura ( lv 7-9 spell effect, legendary magical item)
This is similar to the 3.5 spell of the same name. The only significant change is the removal of the ability to identify spell casting potential as an action, which is given automatically with my version of Greater Arcane Sight (Lv 7)
