You summon giant, writhing maggot that appears in unoccupied spaces that you can see within range. The maggot is challenge rating 2 monster with the following stats:
AC 13 HP 34 (4d8+16) Movement 25' STR 16 (+3) DEX 10 (+0) CON 18 (+4) INT 6 (-2) WIS 6 (-2) CHA 4 (-3) Damage Vulnerabilities: fire; Condition Immunties: Blinded and Deafened; Senses: Blindsight 30' (blind beyond that); Passive Perception 8; CR2; Regeneration - the giant maggot regains 3 hit points at the start of its turn as long as it has 1 hit point; Squrimy Squirmer - the giant maggot ignores movement restrictions from difficult terrain; ACTIONS Worm Whap Melee +5 to hit, reach 5', one target, hit 6 (1d6+3) blungeoning damage and 2 acid damage; Slimy Hugging - if the giant maggot successfully hits its target it can attempt the Slimy Hugging, allowing the giant maggot to grapple the target. The giant maggot makes a grapple check with a +6 to its grapple roll. If it succeeds, the following occurs: Hit: 12 (2d8 + 3) blugeoning damage and 4 (1d8) acid damage. The target may attempt to escape every round, but a failed escape allows the maggot to deal 4 (1d8) acid damage again.
The maggot disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.
The summoned maggot is friendly to you and your companions. Roll initiative for the summoned maggot, which has its own turns. The maggot obeys any verbal commands that you issue (no action required by you). If you don't issue any commands to it, it defends itself from hostile creatures, but otherwise take no actions..
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using certain higher-level spell slots, you choose one of the summoning options above, and more maggot appear: two with a 5th-level slot, three with a 7th-level slot, and four with a 9th-level slot.
