You force a creature in range to make a Wisdom saving throw. The DC increases by 1 if the creature has an intelligence of less than 11 but no lower than 6. A creature that fails the saving throw is afflicted with madness and is subjected to two of the following effects of your choice for a number of hours equal to 3d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier.
Hallucinations: The affected creature experiences vivid hallucinations and has disadvantage on ability checks. To attack, this creature must make a DC 10 concentration check or attack a random target within range.
Insomnia/paranoia: The character suffers extreme insomnia or paranoia. The creature has disadvantage on Wisdom and Charisma checks. and cannot sleep for more than 1 hour at a time.
Delusion: Choose a potion. The target imagines that they are under its effects.
Indecision: Whenever the character takes damage, he or she must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be affected as though he or she failed a saving throw against the confusion spell. The confusion effect lasts for 1 minute.
Silence: The target loses the ability to speak.
If casting this spell as a ritual. the material component must be provided and the target must be incapacitated.
