When the grease appears, each creature standing in its area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or have the Prone condition. A creature that enters the area or ends its turn there must also succeed on that save or fall Prone.

Posted Nov 8, 2024So if they fail their save and fall prone...next round they use half their movement to stand up. If they don't leave, then they must make the save again....correct?

Posted Nov 16, 2024Correct. This spell can be really annoying to anyone caught in it for that reason. And the lack of a Concentration requirement means you can't get rid of it early by damaging the caster.
