With a touch, you magically sequester an object or a willing creature. For the duration, the target has the Invisible condition and can’t be targeted by Divination spells, detected by magic, or viewed remotely with magic.
If the target is a creature, it enters a state of suspended animation; it has the Unconscious condition, doesn’t age, and doesn’t need food, water, or air.
You can set a condition for the spell to end early. The condition can be anything you choose, but it must occur or be visible within 1 mile of the target. Examples include “after 1,000 years” or “when the tarrasque awakens.” This spell also ends if the target takes any damage.
* - (gem dust worth 5,000+ GP, which the spell consumes)

Posted Sep 10, 2024This is more reliable than the new imprisonment. I'm using this to hide the statuette.

Posted Aug 8, 2025Is there no size limit on the object size? I can sequester a tower? A castle? V nice. Don't mess with wizards they will sequester your house.

Posted Aug 11, 2025Per the definition of "object" in the Player's Handbook, no, you can't sequester a tower:
An object is a nonliving, distinct thing. Composite things, like buildings, comprise more than one object.
You can sequester a Daern's Instant Fortress if it's in its collapsed form, though.

Posted Oct 2, 2025How willing does this creature need to be? Say I knock a bad guy unconscious, can I sequester him since he can’t resist?

Posted Oct 6, 2025I do not think that meets any reasonable person's definition of "willing".

Posted Nov 25, 2025If a creature is immune to the Unconscious condition, like the Colossus, Elemental Cataclysm, Blob of Annihilation, and various incorporeal and construct creatures have this spell cast on them, they would have a permanent "Greater Invisibility + Nondetection" effect on them. Which would be hilarious for an adventuring to deal with. Thematically I can see a Colossus have this spell being cast on and have the trigger "When the Tarrasque awakens", but it just invisibly beat the shit out of any dragons that dare to attack the city.
