You briefly stop the flow of time for everyone but yourself. No time passes for other creatures, while you take 1d4 + 1 turns in a row, during which you can use actions and move as normal.
This spell ends if one of the actions you use during this period, or any effects that you create during it, affects a creature other than you or an object being worn or carried by someone other than you. In addition, the spell ends if you move to a place more than 1,000 feet from the location where you cast it.

Posted May 23, 2025Everyone here seems to be forgetting that every single summon spell is concentration. Casting one is fine, casting more than one is not.

Posted Jul 1, 2025Every time this spell is cast, pilots and drivers across all of existence die horrible deaths or suffer massive injuries as they are frozen in time while the vehicle they're operating continues moving forward....

Posted Apr 4, 2026The thing about this spell is this restriction would be fine if this were anything but a ninth level spell slot. Like this is meant to be the pinnacle of magic that if a villain throws it out makes you stressed because you can't defend yourself unless you really clutch a counterspell and if you throw it out becomes a massive hail mary that uses the strongest move you've got. With that in mind being able to only heal, run, or summon just blows. The best thing you can do is set up environmental interactions but even then there might not be anything to take advantage of in the moment.
a better restriction I feel is once the time is up you immediately get a level or two of exhaustion from how taxing the spell is. Or maybe you just need to wait like a number of days equivalent to the number of turns you took before you can cast it again. Either of those I think would be better setbacks than straight up making you unable to actually interact with anyone around you.
