You summon a 5 x 5 foot square flamingo-colored rug, made of simple fabric and worth nothing more than a gold coin or two at best. The rug can be used for mundane tasks, as it is a simple, decorative rug. However, drawing magic from the caster, imbues this fabric with light touches of arcane energy. The rug can be used in the following ways.

Covering. The rug can magically extinguish flames in a space smaller than 5 x 5 feet, cover and hide a space smaller than 5 x 5 feet, or act as a simple shield for Medium or smaller creature - granting a +1 to AC against one attack. When the rug is used in this way, it is destroyed when it takes any damage and the spell ends.

Soft Landing. Creatures that fall onto the rug take reduced falling damage, as the rug provides some cushioning. The rug can absorb up to 20 feet of fall damage in this way. The rug cushions the fall of creature when used in this way, it then disappears and the spell ends.

Restraining Grasp. As a bonus action on you turn, you may command Yeszira's Rug to wrap around a Medium or smaller creature. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or become restrained by the rug. The restrained creature may use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC to escape, destroying the rug and ending the spell on a success. When the rug is used in this way, it remains wrapped around the creature until they break free or the spell ends, but the rug becomes mundane and cannot be used for any of the other functions listed here until the spell is cast again.
