Coarse Wave

You use 20 lbs of Mystic Sand to summon a powerful wave of coarse, abrasive sand that sweeps out from you in a 30-foot line that is 15 feet wide. The wave of sand surges forward, cutting through enemies and leaving them disoriented.

Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw.

• On a failed save, a creature takes 4d6 slashing damage and is knocked prone as the sand sweeps their feet from under them. They are also blinded until the start of your next turn due to the swirling, stinging sand in their eyes.
• On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and is not knocked prone or blinded.

Additional Effect:

• The area in the 30-foot line becomes difficult terrain until the start of your next turn as the coarse sand settles, making it harder for creatures to move through it.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the slashing damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 3rd, and you can extend the line by an additional 10 feet per slot level above 3rd (up to a maximum of 50 feet) using an additional 10lbs of sand per 10ft..
