Fire
You call upon the chaotic and destructive nature of fire, causing magical flames to erupt in a massive, uncontrollable surge. Choose a point within range. From that point, a wildfire spreads in a 30-foot radius. The wildfire creates a burning area that is 15 feet high.
Effect:
- Each creature within the area must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 6d8 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
- The fire ignites any flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried. These flames continue to burn for 1 minute, dealing 1d8 fire damage to any creature that ends its turn in the area of the fire.
- The fire spreads at the start of each of your turns for the next 3 turns. It expands the burning area by 5 feet in every direction. The area of effect can be stopped by dousing the flames with water or through other means that would extinguish natural fire.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the initial damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 5th.
